OTE digital platform is the front end for satellite and terrestrial transmission (DVB-S & DVB-T) and supports the following services:
• Uncoded Satellite Audio/Video Broadcasting
• Encoded Satellite Audio/Video Broadcasting
• IP/data satellite servicesüPay-TV services
DBS Platofrm services apply to:
• Radio and TV stations(free-to-air or encoded transmission and/or station networking)
• Business customers
• Closed user-groups
• Companies with sales network within Greece and Balkans.
More specifically, for TV and radio staions, OTE provides a portfolio of services, that is: the interconnection of the TV station infrastructure with DBS platform, the proccessing of the signal, the signal transfer to the satellite transmit station and the transmission via HellasSat2 satellite.
