About us Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE S.A.) is the largest telecommunications provider in Greece, and together with its subsidiaries forms one of the leading telecom groups in Southeastern Europe.
OTE is among the five largest listed companies, with respect to capitalization, in the Athens Stock Exchange and is also listed in the New York (NYSE) and London (LSE) Stock Exchanges.
Following an agreement between the Greek Government and Deutsche Telekom, since 5th November 2008, each held 25% plus one share in OTE’ s share capital.
Since 31st July 2009, following the sale of a further 5% of OTE share capital by the Greek State to Deutsche Telekom, the Greek State holds 20% and Deutsche Telekom 30%.
