With every purchase from OTE
85 eurocents to be donated to children welfare organizations
For the 8th year in a row, OTE presents a Christmas offer-campaign, in the context of its Corporate Responsibility Programme. This initiative, fervently supported by OTE customers, takes place every year since 2003.
As in previous years, OTE will offer a significant part of the revenues collected through purchases during Christmas holidays to organisations involved in children welfare.
In particular, with every purchase made from an OTESHOP, the 13888 OTE call center or on-line at www.oteshop.gr between December 20th, 2010 and January 20th, 2011, OTE will offer 85 eurocents to the following organizations:
· “Together for Children” , Union of 10 non-profit Greek Organisations
· MDA Hellas (Muscular Dystrophy Association), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving survival outcomes from muscular dystrophy
· “The child’s smile” Society
OTE’s actions for children hold a significant position in OTE’s Corporate Responsibility Programme entitled ‘Building Ties”. A characteristic example is the support of the operation of several help-lines by OTE, such as:
· The National helpline for children “SOS – 1056” and the European hotline for missing children “116000”, both operated by the “The Child’s Smile” Society,
· The advisory helpline “115 25” of the Union “Together for Children”,
· The European helpline “116111” of the Association for the Psychosocial Health of Children and Adolescents (A.P.H.C.A.),
· The teenage helpline “YpoSTIRIZO 800 11 800 15”, in collaboration with the Adolescent Health Unit of the B’ Paediatric Clinic “P. & A. Kyriakou”, of the University of Athens.
