OTE announces that a meeting was held in Bucharest between Mr. Marius Fecioru, State Secretary of the Romanian Ministry of Communications & Information Society, Mr. Michael Tsamaz, Chairman and CEO of OTE, and Mr. Yorgos Ioannidis, CEO of Romtelecom. Mr. Guido Kerkhoff, member of the BoD of Deutsche Τelekom AG, responsible for Europe, also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Mr. Fecioru informed the participants of the intention of the Romanian government to sell the 46% of shares that the Romanian State holds in Romtelecom.

OTE will examine all available options towards the benefit of all its shareholders.
