Great benefits for both new and existing ADSL customers

OTE announces that the planned ADSL speeds upgrade throughout Greece - the fifth during the last years – is already under way, without any additional cost for the customers.

Following the completion of the upgrades:

·         Those who have an 8Mbps ADSL connection, will have upgraded speeds up to 24Mbps, whereas,

·         Those who have a 2Mbps ADSL connection will enjoy double upload speeds at 512 Kbps.

Subscribers with a 24Mbps ADSL connection will save 5,5 euros/month, as they are already being charged with lower tariffs, 22.88 euro/month, the tariff applied to 8 Mbps ADSL connections up to now.

From now onwards, offered ADSL access speeds are:

·         2Mbps / 512 Kbps

·         up to 24Mbps / 1 Mbps

The above speed upgrades concern both new and existing customers, households and businesses, retail and wholesale. Existing customers throughout Greece will gradually enjoy the upgraded speeds, within the next months, without any action necessary from their side.

With this new ADSL speeds upgrade, OTE covers more comprehensively both households’ and businesses’ needs.
