Conn-x TV now available at 2 Mbps Connections! Availability in Kastoria and Florina
Conn-x TV becomes available at all Conn-x speeds, as announced during a Press Conference at Thessaloniki, in view of the 74th Thessaloniki International Fair.
More specifically, until the end of September, Conn-x TV, will also become available to customers with ADSL connections Conn-x at 2 Mbps. Up to now, Conn-x TV was available only at 8 Mbps and 24 Mbps speeds.
With Conn-x TV, subscribers may enjoy: more than 40 thematic television channels with digital clarity (such as Universal Channel, Fox Life, Discovery Channel, Nat Geo Wild, KidsCo, Eurosport, ESPN Classic and ESPN America, Extreme Sports, Conn-x TV sports1, Conn-x TV sports2)
Video on Demand (FilmExpress and FilmClub) services, whose content is updated regularly. FilmExpress is a virtual Video Club. Conn-x TV customers have the option of selecting a film among TV premieres from major Studios. Once a film is rented (pay per view), it is available for 24 hours. With FilmClub, subscribers become members to the subscriber Video Club service offered by Conn-x TV. Viewers can watch over and over again, whenever they want, famous television series, movies, music video clips, documentaries, cartoon series etc., from the FilmClub collection, without having to wait for the video to download and without interruptions for commercials, whereas they can rewind, pause, skip, stop and fast forward the movie.
Furthermore, Conn-x TV has two exclusive sports channels, Conn-x TV Sports1 and Conn-x TV sports2. These exclusive Conn-x TV channels show important sports events for Greek fans as well as major sport events from all over the world. Football matches from Spain (Primera Division), Germany (Bundesliga), Italy (Campionato, Coppa Italia) and France (League Cup) are already part of of the two Conn-x TV sports channels.
Conn-x TV becomes also available at two more cities in Northern Greece. Very shortly, inhabitants of Kastoria and Florina will be able to enjoy too Conn-x TV, OTE’s IPTV offering, and take control of their entertainment and information. These two new cities where Conn-x TV becomes available are added to the 27 cities all over Greece that Conn-x TV is already available (Athens, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Patras, Larissa, Heraklion, Rethymno, Chania, Rhodes, Naxos, Kos, Thira, Siros, Trikala, Xanthi, Kavala, Drama, Serres, Komotini, Alexandroupoli, Veria, Giannitsa, Edessa, Katerini, Kilkis, Kozani, Volos). Gradually, within 2009, Conn-x TV will be available at all major cities / prefecture capitals in Greece. OTE offers Conn-x TV at a special price of 15 euros/month, until September 30th, 2009, for a 12-month contract and with the STB and the WiFi modem/router(1) free of charge. The price includes both access to the TV channels at Conn-x TV as well as to the content/movies of FilmClub.
