OTE qualified again in the semi-annual review held recently for inclusion in the FTSE4Good Global Index Series. FTSE4Good Index Series have been established by FTSE Group, the world leader in the creation and management of indexes and constitute a point of reference for investors wishing to have data related to corporate responsibility of the company they are interested to invest in.

OTE is one of the 275 companies in Europe included in the FTSE4GOOD EUROPE BENCHMARK INDEX. At the semi-annual review held in September, no additional Greek companies were selected, while OTE remains one of the few Greek companies included in the index.

The review is held twice a year. Environmental criteria, as well as other parameters, such as the promotion of dialogue, transparency and accountability and the management’s commitment to secure responsible corporate practices are taken into consideration.

The FTSE4Good inclusion criteria evolve over time, demanding continued improvement in environmental and social practices in order to gain or maintain inclusion in the index.

OTE was included in FTSE4Good index for the first time in 2008. Ever since, its inclusion is constantly renewed.
