Historically, traditional fixed line telecommunications services comprise the core of the business on which OTE's strong brand name has been built. As the leading supplier of fixed telephony in Greece, OTE provides a large number of products and services to Greek and foreign businesses, consumers and other organizations.

Placing special emphasis on the development and promotion of broadband services, OTE offers high ADSL access speed packages through its broadband brand “conn-x”. The company has also focused on reducing “conn-x” services tariff plans and on developing its infrastructure further by increasing ADSL points of presence in its telecommunications network. In addition, OTE has introduced new types of voice services in its broadband Internet packages, aiming to respond to growing market demands for specialised bundled products both for residential as well as business customers.

The convergence of telecommunications services, the consumer trend towards home entertainment and the expansion of ADSL have led OTE to provide digital TV services through broadband access (IPTV). In response therefore to international trends and consumers’ evolving needs, OTE launched in 2009 the Conn-x TV service.
