To all us, Greeks, undertaking the Olympic Games
brought us against a historic challenge: to contribute to
the organization
of unique Games on a human scale.
OTE, in a joint venture with COSMOTE and OTEnet
took part and supported the national endeavour with know-how,
experience and most of all the vision of its people.
OTE sponsorship amounted to 59 million euros.
However, the actual size of the investment was far greater
than the contractual obligations,
as OTE provided the overall telecommunications infrastructure.
